Andrew worked for two private chartered quantity surveying practices prior to joining quantum in February 2002. Andrew's initial experience was gained in pre and post contract work in the construction sector. He began his quantity surveying career preparing bills of quantities and schedules of work and became a chartered surveyor in 1999.

As his career advanced he moved to a private practice which specialised in insolvency work, contractor & sub-contractor support and dispute resolution. Progressing to director at quantum in 2006, he is a managing surveyor for contracting organisation clients and has refined skills in dispute resolution.

With a postgraduate diploma in arbitration in 2005, andrew works with companies of varying sizes from small sub-contractors to regional & national main contractors and blue chip international construction and industrial companies.

Over the last decade andrew has worked increasingly on international projects and has been involved in numerous arbitrations, adjudications, mediations and litigations in the uk, eastern europe and the middle east. Being based in the UK gives the flexibility to advise clients in connection with its disputes within whichever country the disputes exist.

With Quantum since 1999, Stephen has a thorough and varied background in contracting, private practice and consulting. A chartered quantity surveyor since 1994 with deep experience of construction management having worked within both main contractor and sub-contractor organisations.

His career development has provided him with a sound appreciation of business commerce and contract and company law. At Quantum, Stephen applies these skills to manage client assignments, whether they involve acting as expert or managing the in-house team in providing quantity surveying services. Stephen balances the art of businessman and advocate to ensure that each client receives the highest quality of service.

Chartered Quantity Surveyor BSc Hons, MSc; with 15 years Main Contractor experience within Australia and the UK. Lee has worked in construction, mining, refurbishment, rail, and retail and has experience of NEC, ICE, JCT, AS and a number of bespoke contracts and subcontracts.

Lee is organised, has good practical skills to be able to work confidently under pressure and thrives on working in demanding and complex environments that provides on-going challenges. Lee works well both in a team environment or individually and willingly accept responsibility and maintains strong technical and practical knowledge that can be applied in a variety of situations to ensure that continuous improvement and strong outcomes are achieved.

Lee strives to continuously improve myself and the team around him and has recently completed a distance learning Masters degree in 'Construction Law and Dispute Resolution' at Leeds Beckett University.

Phil is an experienced, driven and focused Construction Professional with over 30 years of multi-disciplined industry experience. Phil has worked in all sectors on projects of a wide range in value and has held the personal responsibility for the delivery of projects.

Phil's range of experience has given him an extensive knowledge base built up over 20 years at senior management level. Phil has experience at spotting strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities and take an objective view. Because of his wide range of experience, Phil has been fortunate to have had the pleasure of working with some incredible people and on fantastically interesting projects.

Phil strives for self-improvement, to help the teams he works with grow and meet the client objective. He’s always looking for the next competitive edge, or the unique approach or service delivery in what can be a very challenging environment. His mediation training equips him to find and negotiate solutions for successful outcomes.

Joined Quantum in August 2014 as an Assistant Consultant. James possesses a range of skills from Valuations and Change Costing and Implications through to Practical Programming Knowledge. James has been involved in a number of adjudications and claim preparations as well as continual day-to-day Quantity Surveying.
